Running is just part of the purpose for Vista View Girls on the Run
The Vista View Elementary Girls on the Run Club finished its season with a 5K race at Normandale Community College on Nov. 13, a fitting accomplishment for their hard work this fall.
But, the club is about more than just running. The team’s 11 participants also learned about leadership, teamwork and community service, which involved designing and assembling 36 coloring books and crayon sets to give to young patients at Fairview Ridges Hospital.
