Burnsville High School Theatre Guild presents ‘Matilda The Musical’
Burnsville High School Theatre Guild kicks off Season 63 with a heartwarming and magical tale!
"Matilda," based on the beloved children’s book by Roald Dahl, is a delightful and inspiring musical that promises to captivate audiences of all ages. The production features a talented cast of young performers, with two actors sharing the role of Matilda — junior Allie Stuart and sophomore Greta Dickhausen.
“We are thrilled to bring ‘Matilda The Musical’ to our community,” said choreography director Ann Bakken. “Everyone can relate to the story’s message of empowerment, the importance of standing up for what's right, and the magic of books and imagination. Our talented cast has put their hearts and souls into this production, and we can't wait to share it.”
A free preview performance for senior citizens is set for Nov. 8 at 4 p.m., followed by performances that run Nov. 9-18 at the Mraz Center for the Performing Arts at Burnsville High School, located at 600 E. Hwy 13, Burnsville.
Showtimes are as follows:
- November 9-10 at 7 p.m.
- November 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- November 17 at 7 p.m.
- November 18 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Tickets are $12 for adults, $11 for senior citizens, and $10 for students.
